What began as a minor stomach ache in May turned out to be a life-altering diagnosis. Doctors found a tumor the size of a tennis ball in her liver. Fortunately, the cancer has not spread to other parts of her body, offering a glimmer of hope. Deepika, known for her strength and transparency, shared that the diagnosis was a complete shock for her and her family.
In her vlog, Deepika opened up about the harsh realities of cancer treatment, explaining how the medications have affected her both physically and emotionally. She mentioned dealing with severe fatigue, mood swings, low immunity, and significant hair loss. The fear of losing hair has left such a psychological impact that she often sits in silence after bathing, afraid of what she’ll see.
