Saturday don’t donate these things
In Hinduism, Saturday is dedicated to Shani Dev, the giver of karma and the god of justice. Astrology states that Shani Dev bestows punishment and rewards upon people according to their deeds. Special worship of Shani Dev is performed on Saturdays. Today is Shani Dev’s day. It is believed that special worship of Shani Dev on Saturdays alleviates all the sorrows of life.
Along with worshipping Shani Dev, charity is also performed on Saturdays, but these five things should never be donated on this day. It is believed that donating these five things on Saturdays could lead to dire consequences in their lives. This is because donating these things on Saturdays angers Shani Dev.
Do not donate these things on Saturday
white goods
It is said that Shani Dev dislikes white things. White objects are said to be associated with the Moon. The Moon and Shani Dev are considered arch rivals, so donating white items like white clothes, rice, or milk products on Saturdays is not recommended. Donating these items angers Shani Dev, and the donation doesn’t yield any merit.
Red objects
Donating red items on Saturdays is a no-no. Astrology states that the color red is associated with the Sun. The Sun and Saturn are father and son, but they are also enemies, so donating red clothes and red fruits should be avoided on this day.
Yellow objects
Yellow objects are associated with the planet Jupiter. The scriptures describe Saturn and Jupiter as enemies, so yellow objects such as gold, brass, wheat, turmeric, and yellow clothing should not be donated on Saturdays.
Plastic and glass
According to astrology, plastic and glass are associated with the god Shani, so donating these items on Saturday is considered inauspicious. Donating them on this day is recommended.
Salt
Donating salt on Saturdays is not recommended because donating salt on this day angers Lord Shani Dev, which can lead to financial and mental problems. Therefore, don’t donate salt on this day.
