Government Confirms Release Date for PM Kisan’s 21st Installment: Money Will Come On This Date: New Delhi — The month of November is set to bring major relief to farmers across the country, as the central government has announced that the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released on November 19. This installment will provide ₹2,000 directly to the bank accounts of more than 90 million eligible farmers.
The Agriculture Department confirmed the update through its official Instagram handle, stating that the funds will be transferred within a few days. This installment aims to support farmers with essential agricultural expenses ahead of the Rabi season.
Some states affected by natural disasters, such as Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir, have already received advance payments between September and October. Over 3.5 million farmers in these regions were provided the installment early due to flood-related losses.
On October 7, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan transferred ₹170 crore to the accounts of more than 854,000 farmers. Earlier, on September 26, the government released ₹540 crore to support over 2.7 million farmers, including a large number of women across flood-affected states.
Important Steps for Farmers Before November 19
The government has urged all beneficiaries to complete mandatory requirements to avoid delays in receiving the installment. These include:
- e-KYC completion
- Verification of bank account status
- Land record updates
Farmers who fail to update these details may face delays or rejection of payment. Authorities have advised completing these tasks before November 19 to ensure smooth and timely credit of funds.
With this installment, millions of farming families across the country are expected to receive much-needed support as the cropping season advances.
