Ramdas Hemraj Marbade, a resident of Nandan Nagar, Village Khairbodi, Tiroda Tehsil, Gondia District, Maharashtra, who, with the right strategy, faith in himself and hard work, has got a job in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), now he is serving in the Technician Department of ISRO.

golgappas seller – Ramdas said, “His father was a peon in Dongargaon Zila Parishad School located in Mohdi of Tumsar Tehsil of Bhandara district who has just retired and his mother is a housewife. He completed his early education from Ganesh High School Gumadhavada. After completing 12th from C.G. Patel College Tiroda, he did BA (private) from YCM College, Nashik. Due to poor financial condition, Ramdas studied at night and sold golgappas during the day.
During this period, without caring about a simple family background, with the dream of getting a job in ISRO, he took the course of Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic from Industrial Training Institute Tirora (ITI) and also got training in centrifugal, reciprocating, fluid flow, pressure, head, cavitation, water treatment, oil, gas maintenance and repair.

journey from the streets to ISRO- In the year 2023, ISRO released recruitment for Apprentice Trainee posts, after which Ramdas Hemraj Marbade also applied by visiting the official website. In 2024, he passed the return test examination in Nagpur and on 29 August 2024, he reached the center in Sriharikota to take the skill test and took the skill test in which he passed.
After this, he got selected in ISRO and with the joining letter dated 19 May 2025, Ramdas Marbade reached the Indian Space Research Organization (Space Center) in Sriharikota and is now doing research on micro aspects while holding the post of pump-operator-cum-mechanic. There is a wave of happiness in the family on his success. At the same time, Gondia district is also feeling proud of the achievement made by a youth selling golgappas.
