Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Enters ₹100 Crore Club in 13 Days
Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has stormed the box office, crossing the ₹100 crore mark within just 13 days of its release. The film, which hit theatres on November 21, has emerged as one of the biggest surprise hits of the season. Competing with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror love story Thama, the movie continues to draw strong crowds and rake in impressive collections.
Expressing his excitement on Instagram, Harshvardhan Rane announced that the film has earned ₹101.1 crore worldwide, including ₹86.1 crore in India and ₹15 crore overseas. Sharing his gratitude, the actor wrote, “Mila puri duniya ka pyaar, deewanon ne 100 crore paar!” The film opened to a solid ₹10 crore on Day 1 and collected ₹55.15 crore in its first week, proving its sustained momentum at the box office.
Meanwhile, its rival release Thama is also performing exceptionally well, having collected ₹120.05 crore in India in 13 days. Produced by Maddock Films, Thama joins the prestigious ₹100 crore club, following the success of Stree and Stree 2. With both films continuing to perform strongly, the box office is witnessing a record-breaking end to the year for Hindi cinema.
