Heavy Rains Expected Today: Orange Warning Issued For 7 Districts: A low-pressure area is active in the state. Due to the influence of a low-pressure area, rain is lashing all over Odisha. For today, an orange alert has been issued for Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Balasore, Sundargarh, and Sambalpur regarding heavy rainfall. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall with thundershowers is likely to occur in various districts of the state till the 20th of next month. This information has been given by the Regional Meteorological Center.
Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in the districts of Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Angul, Bargarh, Sonepur and Boudh. Therefore, a yellow warning has been issued for these districts. Meanwhile, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea due to the rough sea conditions due by the low pressure.
