Himachal Minister Vikramaditya Singh Marries Punjab University Professor Amreen Kaur in Intimate Ceremony

Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh Gets Married: Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh tied the knot with Punjab University Assistant Professor Dr. Amreen Kaur on Monday in a private wedding ceremony held at a gurdwara. The 35-year-old Congress leader described the occasion as “the beginning of a new chapter” in his life. Close friends and family members attended the intimate ceremony, after which the newlyweds left for Shimla.

This is Vikramaditya Singh’s second marriage. A descendant of the royal family of Bushahr in Shimla district, he is the son of the late six-time Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Congress state unit president Pratibha Singh. He was previously married to a woman from a royal Rajasthani family in 2019, but the couple divorced last year.

Dr. Amreen Kaur, who holds a PhD in Psychology, is an accomplished academic and writer. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Punjab University, Chandigarh. A graduate of Howard University, she has two master’s degrees and a deep passion for literature. She is the daughter of Senior Advocate Jyotiinder Singh Sikhon and Opinder Kaur. Vikramaditya and Amreen have known each other for several years, and their wedding marks a union of shared friendship, intellect, and public service.
