Mukund Agiwal Tops CA Final from MP; Rajasthan’s Neha Khanwani Bags AIR-1 in CA Intermediate

ICAI CA Exam Results Declared, Mukund Agrawal Topper: More than 11,000 candidates have successfully become Chartered Accountants after clearing the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) CA September 2025 examination. The results for the CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation exams were declared today on the official ICAI website — icai.nic.in. Candidates can check their results by logging in with their roll number and registration number.

Mukund Agiwal from Dhamnod, Madhya Pradesh, secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the CA Final examination with 500 marks (83.33%).
Tejas Mundhra from Hyderabad stood second with 492 marks (82%), while Bakul Gupta from Alwar secured the third position with 489 marks (81.50%).

Out of 81,852 candidates who appeared for the CA Final across 458 centres, 2,727 cleared both groups, registering an overall pass percentage of 16.23%.

  • Group 1: 24.66% pass rate (12,811 of 51,955)
  • Group 2: 25.26% pass rate (8,151 of 32,273)

CA Intermediate Results

In the CA Intermediate examination, Neha Khanwani from Jaipur emerged as the topper with 505 marks out of 600 (84.17%), followed by Kriti Sharma from Ahmedabad and Akshat Birendra Nautiyal from Mumbai, who scored 503 and 500 marks, respectively.

A total of 93,074 candidates appeared for Group 1 and 69,768 for Group 2.

  • Group 1 Pass Percentage: 9.43% (8,780 passed)
  • Group 2 Pass Percentage: 27.14% (18,938 passed)
  • Both Groups Overall Pass Percentage: 10.06%

At the Foundation level, L. Rajalakshmi from Chennai topped the exam with 360 marks (90%), followed by Prem Agarwal and Neel Rajesh Shah in the second and third ranks, respectively.

Out of 98,827 candidates who appeared, 14,609 cleared the exam — an overall pass percentage of 14.78%. Among male candidates, 15.74% passed (8,046 of 51,120), while 13.76% of female candidates (6,563 of 47,707) qualified.

Candidates can check their results and download their digital marksheets from the ICAI’s official result portal at icai.nic.in. The portal also provides a list of toppers and allows verification of marks.

In total, over 2.5 lakh students appeared for the September 2025 CA session across all levels, marking another milestone in India’s premier accounting examination.
