Shubman gill first home Test series

India-West Indies First Test Match To Be Played From Friday : The Test match between India and West Indies will be played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium from tomorrow. This is the first home Test series for captain Shubman Gill as Test captain. Earlier, Shubman Gill had drawn the Test series against England 2-2 as Test captain. Ravindra Jadeja has been given the responsibility of vice-captain for this series. Devdutt Paddikil has returned to the team. Similarly, Karun Nair got a place during the England tour, but this time he has been dropped. KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj and other players have returned to the team.

The toss will be held at 9 am tomorrow at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Batting will be at 9.30 am. The first Test match between India and West Indies will be played on red clay.
Rishabh Pant has not been included in the team due to his injury. Pant has been ruled out of the selection race for this Test series as he has not fully recovered from his injury.

The first Test match against West Indies will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from October 2. Similarly, the second Test match will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on October 10.
