India’s First Sleeper, Vande Bharat Is Set To Run From Uttar Pradesh To Mumbai: The country’s first sleeper Vande Bharat Express will run between Lucknow and Mumbai. The route survey has been completed, and the timetable will be released soon. There is every possibility that the train will start running from July. The 1350 km journey from Agra to Mumbai will become comfortable and easy. Currently, trains between Lucknow and Mumbai take 16 to 17 hours, but the sleeper Vande Bharat will complete the journey in 10 hours. The new sleeper Vande Bharat will reach Mumbai via Aligarh and Agra.
According to the information, the survey of this route has been going on for the last 6 months. Earlier, a proposal had come to run the sleeper Vande Bharat to Mumbai via Kanpur-Mathura-Agra. Then the route from Bareilly to Agra and Mumbai via Aonla-Chandausi-Moradabad-Ghaziabad-Nizamuddin was looked at. Finally, the route to Mumbai via Bareilly Junction was finalized. Now this train will go from Lucknow to Mumbai via Hardoi-Bareilly Junction-Moradabad-Ghaziabad-Nizamuddin, Agra. Many districts of North India will be covered by the new route. The journey of the passengers of this route to Mumbai will become comfortable.
The train will run four days a week
According to railway officials, this train will run four days a week. The train will have a total of 20 coaches, which will include AC First, AC Second, and AC Third, as well as two SLR coaches. 1200 passengers will be able to travel in the train. This fast, modern, and extremely comfortable train will make long-distance travel extremely comfortable. A meeting of railway officials is scheduled at the end of June to issue the timetable. The number of passengers travelling to Mumbai via Lucknow-Bareilly Junction, Agra, is very high. Currently, Bareilly-Lokmanya Tilak Express, Ramnagar-Bandra Express, and Lal Kuan-Bandra Terminus run on this route, so there are a lot of problems regarding seats.
The country’s first Vande Bharat Express train started from Varanasi in 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged it off. This train runs between Varanasi and New Delhi. Now, two Vande Bharat trains are running between Varanasi and New Delhi. This train is known for its speed and facilities.
