Iran Issues ‘Red Line’ Warning, Threatens to Target US Military After Trump’s Statement: Tensions between Iran and the United States have escalated sharply after Iran issued a strong warning, declaring its national security a “red line” and threatening direct action against US military forces in the region if Washington takes any aggressive steps.
Senior Iranian leader Ali Shamkhani stated that Iran’s security is non-negotiable. “Iran’s security is a red line for us. If any foreign power interferes in it, that hand will be cut off,” he warned, sending a clear message to the United States and its allies.
Another senior leader, Ali Larijani, accused former US President Donald Trump of endangering the lives of American soldiers. He said that any US military intervention in Iran would prompt immediate retaliation, including attacks on American military bases and personnel stationed in the region. Larijani further alleged that the US and Israel are conspiring against Iran and asserted that Iran’s missile capabilities are independent and do not require anyone’s approval.
Iran has warned that any aggressive move by the US would be met with an unprecedented response. Iranian officials claimed that such retaliation would be beyond what America could imagine, signaling a readiness to escalate the conflict if provoked.
