Jagannath Pradhan Arrest Case : Will Jagannath Be Given Bail Or Jail Today? Jagannath Pradhan and five other accused have also filed bail applications. All of them have filed their applications before the Khordha District Magistrate. Jagannath, who was arrested in the BMC Additional Commissioner assault case, is in jail.

BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan’s bail plea to be heard. The Khurda District and Dauraj Courts will hear the bail plea. Along with Jagannath Pradhan, five other accused have also filed bail pleas . All of them have filed their applications before the Khurda District Daura Judge. Jagannath is currently in jail after being arrested in the incident of assaulting the BMC Additional Commissioner. Jagannath is currently in 14-day judicial custody.
Jagannath Pradhan Arrest Case
The police had invoked various sections of the Indian Penal Code against Jagannath Pradhan.A case was registered under sections 333, 121(1), 121(2), 351(2), 62 and 304. Jagannath Pradhan reached the DCP office last Thursday night along with his supporters. After surrendering, the Commissionerate Police arrested Jagannath Pradhan. The police arrested him on charges of conspiracy to commit an attack. After this, he was taken to the Capital Hospital for a health check. There, two doctors examined Jagannath Pradhan. Finally, Jagannath Pradhan was produced in the court from the hospital. After the court rejected his bail, Jagannath Pradhan was sent to the judicial divisional jail for 14 days.
Meanwhile, after Jagannath Pradhan went to jail, a ruckus was seen on the highway. The arrest of BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan has been strongly protested by his supporters. Supporters protested and made loud noises in front of the DCP’s office and Jharpada jail. If Jagannath Pradhan has been arrested, then BMC Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahu should also be arrested, his supporters demanded. But no action has been taken against the commissioner so far. Meanwhile, since Jagannath has filed a bail application, it remains to be seen whether he will get bail today or will have to stay in jail again.
