Jagannath Temple Sets Up First Breastfeeding Room for Devotee Mothers: A mother-child breastfeeding room has been opened in the temple premises. This has been started with the efforts of the temple administration for the benefit of the devoted mother and child. Information has been given by the temple administration in this regard. Four women can breastfeed their babies at a time in an air-conditioned room near the branch office inside the temple. Two female JTPs have been deployed for this.
While a large number of devotees and devotees visit the temple every day, many mothers bring their small children. Keeping in mind the needs of mothers and children who are dependent on breastfeeding, a special breastfeeding room has been set up in the temple premises. A medical team has also been deployed in this breastfeeding room, said the District Magistrate and Deputy Chief Administrator of the temple. The devotees have welcomed this decision.
