Back-to-Back Earthquakes Hit Japan and Pakistan; No Damage Reported So Far
Japan Earthquake: Magnitude 6.0, No Damage Reported: A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.0 struck Japan near the east coast of Honshu late last night, causing tremors in the region. According to the National Seismological Centre (NSC), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 50 kilometers, with coordinates posted at latitude 37.5E and longitude 141.52N on social media platform ‘X’. Fortunately, no casualties or property damage have been reported as of now.
This follows another moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.9 that was felt in Pakistan, also late last night. The epicenter was recorded at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers, causing widespread panic among residents. While the tremors sparked fear, especially in urban areas, no reports of damage or injury have emerged from the affected regions.
Authorities in both countries are monitoring the situation, and disaster response teams remain on alert as a precautionary measure.
