‘Kumkum Bhagya’ Will Go Off Air After 11 Years ? Zee TV’s popular show Kumkum Bhagya may get a big shock. There are reports that this show is going to end after 11 years. The reason for its going off air is said to be low TRP. This clearly shows that people did not like the fourth generation track of Kumkum Bhagya.
Will ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ end?
The show went on air in 2004. This show is like an emotion for people. It was started with Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia . Their presence and storyline made the show very popular among the audience. For years, this show remained in the top 5 list of TRP. But now the show is not the same as before. Its starcast has also changed in the past years. Sriti and Shabbir are no longer a part of it. Meanwhile, there were multiple leaps in the show. Talking about the current storyline, Pranali Rathore, Akshay Bindra and Namik Paul are in the lead roles. According to the information, the show will end next month.
IWMBUZZ has quoted a source in its report that Kumkum Bhagya was facing a decline in TRP for a long time. Its last episode will be telecast on 7 September 2025. With this, the 11-year long journey of the show will come to an end. However, there was no plan to close the show earlier. But when the producers were offered a new slot (7 pm), Ekta Kapoor decided to end the show instead of accepting it. There is talk that the new serial ‘Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan’ will replace the show Kumkum Bhagya. This show has been produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta.
Right now the makers have not given an official statement regarding the closure of the show. Pranali was earlier seen in the show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She got limelight from Rajan Shahi’s show. But the show Kumkum Bhagya was not very lucky for her.
here is disappointment among the fans after knowing the news of this show closing down. Kumkum Bhagya is included in the longest running shows on TV. This show has made many actors stars. Bollywood diva Mrunal Thakur was also once a part of this show. She played the role of Bulbul. This show made the pair of Sriti-Shabir iconic.
