A video of the gathering has surfaced, showing Lashkar operatives showering their leaders with flowers and welcoming them with garlands. The jubilant demeanor of the terrorists in the footage has raised serious questions for Indian intelligence and security agencies, who are probing whether this apparent celebration is connected to the recent Delhi blast.
Sources reveal that the meeting took place in Kotli, PoK, just two days after the explosion that killed 12 people and injured more than 20. The visible excitement and cheerfulness among the LeT cadres have alarmed investigators, as the timing of the meeting and the tone of the celebrations appear suspicious. Officials are now examining whether this show of jubilation was related to the terror attack in Delhi or part of a broader operational agenda by the Lashkar leadership.
According to intelligence inputs, the meeting was attended by top Lashkar figures Abdul Rauf and Rizwan Hanif. Hanif, who serves as the Deputy Amir (Deputy Chief) of the PoK unit of Lashkar-e-Taiba, is believed to play a crucial role in coordinating between Lashkar and Jaish-e-Mohammed operatives. The gathering, described as “significant” by sources, is being closely analyzed for any references or indications linking it to the recent bombing.
Rizwan Hanif is also known to command the Hilal-ul-Haq Brigade — a joint Lashkar–Jaish combat unit operating under the banner of the People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF). Investigators believe that this network could hold vital clues in uncovering the masterminds behind the Delhi attack. With mounting intelligence pointing toward cross-border coordination, Indian security agencies are intensifying their efforts to trace the possible involvement of LeT operatives based in PoK in orchestrating the Red Fort blast.
