Lunar Eclipse 2025 Date And Time – The Blood Moon is going to happen on September 7, 2025. According to Indian Standard Time (IST), it will start at 8:58 PM and will continue till 1:25 AM on September 8. However, it has been reported that the blood moon will be at its peak from 11:00 PM to 12:22 AM.
The blood moon eclipse will be visible in China, Western Australia, East Africa, Russia, and Arab countries. A partial blood moon will also be visible in western Alaska, Western Europe, and the United Kingdom.
The blood moon will also be visible in many parts of India. People will be able to see the blood moon in many cities including Lucknow, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Goa. However, it may also depend on the weather conditions and pollution levels.
How Does A Total blood moon Occur?
A total lunar eclipse occurs when Earth’s shadow covers the Moon. And in place of turning dark, the moon acquires a deep red color and gets the name Blood Moon.
