Mahakumbh Mela: Draupadi Murmu took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam and offered prayers to the Sun
Mahakumbh Mela: President Draupadi Murmu took a dip in the Mahakumbh. The President took a dip in the Triveni Sangam in a special ceremony. Dressed in white, the president offered water to the sun and recited mantras after taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam. His daughter was also present with him. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also taken a dip in the Triveni Sangam.
This morning, President Draupadi Murmu arrived at the Prayagraj International Airport in a special Air Force aircraft. As per protocol, Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were present at the airport to welcome the President. From there, the President directly reached the Karked Mahakumbh site, Triveni Sangam. Security arrangements were made in view of the president’s visit. The country’s first citizen president also took a bath amid special arrangements at the Mahakumbh of spirituality.

This grand and spiritual fair, which began on Paush Purnima, has so far attracted around 40 crore devotees. After 144 years, this year’s full Kumbh has brought great enthusiasm among devotees worldwide. Invited guests, heads of state, and representatives from various countries are also joining this grand spiritual fair in the city of Sangam. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Ministers of several states, prominent industrialists, celebrities, and various eminent personalities have already taken a dip in the Kumbh.
