Meghalaya Raja Murder Case : The mystery murder case of meghalaya newly wed raja may be sloved by soon , because pictures of Sonam Raghuvanshi’s lover Raj Kushwaha and contract killers Anand, Akash and Vicky Thakur have surfaced for the first time. Meghalaya Police has detained Sonam from Ghazipur, while four other accused have been arrested from Madhya Pradesh.
Police investigation revealed that Sonam had conspired with her lover Raj Kushwaha to murder her husband Raja. Raj Kushwaha, who is five years younger than Sonam, is the mastermind of this murder.
Raj worked in Sonam’s father’s plywood factory in Indore, where their love affair began. To carry out this conspiracy, Raj hired three contract killers Anand, Akash and Vicky Thakur.
Meghalaya DGP I. Nongrang said that Sonam had planned Raja’s murder with Raj Kushwaha even before marriage. Raja and Sonam got married on 11 May last month and nine days later on 20 May, they went to Shillong for their honeymoon .
On May 23, after checking out from Shipara Homestay in Nongriat village, Raja was murdered and his body was dumped in a ditch near the Waisawadong waterfall. The body was recovered on June 2, while Sonam was found today, June 9, at a dhaba in Ghazipur. According to the police, the lover Raj Kushwaha was constantly in touch with Sonam and was moving ahead as per the conspiracy. The statement of Albert PD, a tourist guide from Mawlakhiyat in Meghalaya, gave an important clue to the police, in which he told that he had seen three other men along with Raja and Sonam. All three were talking in Hindi, so nothing much could be understood, this is where the police got an important evidence in the investigation.
Police is reaching Ghazipur to take Sonam to Shillong on transit remand. Sonam’s family has rejected the claims of Meghalaya police and demanded a CBI inquiry, but Raja’s brother Vipin said, “With the name of Raj Kushwaha coming out, it seems that Meghalaya police is telling the truth.”
