Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who had made a century in the previous match, failed to open his score. Jofra Archer made 30 runs for the team, and Riyan Parag made 16. Jasprit Bumrah picked 2 wickets for Mumbai, and 3 wickets each were picked by Karn Sharma and Trent Boult. Rajasthan has been knocked out of the playoffs with this loss.

They together contributed 116 runs to the first wicket. As the two openers got dismissed, a stable partnership was noticed between Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav. Both batsmen accumulated 48 runs each, just one short of half a century. Mahish Tikkasna and Ryan Parag picked one wicket each for Rajasthan.
