Minor girl accused of gang rape in Capital police station area
Allegation of gang rape of a minor girl in the capital Bhubaneswar. There has been an allegation of gang rape of a minor girl in the Ashok Nagar area under the Capital police station. The minor girl is being treated in the ICU of the Capital Hospital in a critical condition. The Capital police station has started an investigation into the incident.
According to reports, a minor girl was found lying unconscious on the Ashok Nagar road late on Friday night. Some people ignored her, thinking she was mentally disturbed. As the night progressed, the minor girl was writhing in pain. Some auto drivers went to the spot and informed the police about the condition of the minor girl. There were bruises on various parts of the minor girl’s body. Apparently, the clothes she was wearing were also torn. On receiving information about the incident, the Capital Police reached the spot, rescued the minor girl and admitted her to the Capital Hospital. Since the minor girl’s condition is critical, she has been admitted to the ICU of the Capital Hospital. However, during the treatment, the doctor found out that the minor girl had been raped. The minor girl could not say anything. Later, after treatment, the minor girl said that her home is Bihar.
Meanwhile, the Capital Police Station has registered a case of gang rape and POCSO and started investigation. The police have also contacted the family of the minor girl. The police are checking the CCTV cameras installed in Ashok Nagar. But till now, no trace has been found in connection with any of the accused.
