The journey from Miss Universe Thailand to Miss World
Opal Suchata Chuangsri has caught the world’s attention not only for her beauty but also for her awareness of social concerns. After facing a serious health problem when she was just 16 years old, she decided to spread awareness among women about breast cancer and its related precautions. With this thought, she started an initiative called ‘Opal for Her’, which has today become an influential social movement regarding women’s health in Thailand.

Opal’s experience on the international stage has already been strong. She represented Thailand in the Miss Universe competition in 2024 and finished third there. However, when she later accepted the title of Miss World Thailand 2025, she had to relinquish her Miss Universe Thailand title. This decision made it clear that Opal’s priority is not only the title, but also to bring change in society through a big platform.

Model Nandini Gupta participated on this platform from India, and with her brilliant performance, she managed to make it to the top 20. Although she could not reach the final round, her confidence and presence brought glory to India.
