Mock Drill For War On May 7 : Tensions between India and Pakistan have been increasing since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, from Prime Minister Modi to Home Minister Amit Shah, everyone has met the three army chiefs. Due to this, a large number of soldiers have been deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. A list has been published regarding the mock drill. In which the names of 244 districts of the entire country are included. Full preparations have started in these districts from Tuesday i.e. today.

How to protect yourself when you heard a siren

There will be a blackout during this mock drill. This means that the lights of all homes, offices and public places will be turned off during the attack. Along with this, a loud siren will also be sounded. As soon as the siren is heard, people will have to be alert and move to a safe place. Citizens will be trained to survive during an attack.

Steps to be taken during the drill include sounding air raid warning sirens and training citizens on safety measures to protect themselves in the event of an attack. A meeting was held at the Home Ministry today (May 6) for the mock drill to be held on Wednesday. NDRF DG, Home Guard DG, Fire DG attended the meeting. Officials related to Railways and Air Security were also present. SDRF has started preparations for the mock drill in Srinagar.
