Nag Panchami 2025 : Nag Panchami has special significance in Hinduism. It falls on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. It is believed that on this day the snake god is pleased and protects his devotees. People worship snakes by offering milk, flowers and sandalwood. But this time there is confusion whether Nag Panchami is on 28th July or 29th July? This time the Nag Panchami festival is a bit complicated according to the Panchang, due to which there is confusion among the people about the date.
There is a difference of opinion regarding the date of Nag Panchami 2025 — Panchami Tithi will start from 12:40 pm on July 28 and will last till 3:15 pm on July 29. Since according to religious belief, the puja should be performed during the day, Nag Panchami will be celebrated on July 29 in most places.

Worship method: How to worship the serpent god?
.-On the day of Nag Panchami, take a bath in the morning and draw a picture of a snake or place its idol on the main door, prayer place or wall of the house.
-Worship the serpent god with turmeric, rice, milk, kusha, flowers and durva.
-Anoint the snakes with raw milk.
-Recite the mantra “Om Namah Nagaya”.
-Then all the members of the house should listen to the story of Nag Panchami and observe a fast.
-On this day, digging the ground, cutting trees and plants and harming snakes is prohibited.
