NASA Puts Axiom-4 Launch On Hold Again: No Launch On June 22: Axiom Mission-4 is yet again delayed. The mission, which has been repeatedly put off due to technical glitches, was to depart for the International Space Station on Sunday, June 22, but now it has again been moved. Indian Shubhanshu Shukla is among the four astronauts heading for the ISS. In a post shared by ISS on X, it was said that NASA, Axiom Space, and SpaceX are constantly looking into when the best opportunity might be for this mission to roll out. NASA is backing out of the Sunday launch. The new launch date consideration will be given out a few days ahead.

Earlier, NASA had said that Axiom-4 mission could go on June 22. It couldn’t take off till now due to technical glitches and was inevitably keep on being postponed. Earlier, it had been postponed upon discovery of technical glitches in Falcon-9 rocket. A new launch date will be announced once the investigation is completed and pending range availability is confirmed, stated SpaceX on social media.

What is Axiom Mission 4?
This mission will be historic for India, as well as for Poland and Hungary. These two countries will participate in human space flight for the first time after 40 years. This will be the first time that India, Poland and Hungary will go together to the ISS under a joint mission. This mission will be launched in a SpaceX Dragon capsule on a Falcon 9 rocket. The launch of the Axiom-4 crew will take place from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
