Navya Yojna: Today the government will launch ‘Navya Scheme’ for teenage girls
Navya scheme : starts from today, know what this scheme is and how girls will get benefit from it : Today, on 24th June, the government has launched a new scheme. The name of this scheme is Navya Yojna. Let us tell you. What is this scheme and how do girls get benefits from it.
The central government runs many schemes for the people of the country. Keeping in mind the needs of different people, the government brings new schemes. Some schemes of the government are for women. Some are for students. Some are for the elderly and some are for farmers.
In line with the Government’s commitment towards Developed India@2047 vision and women-led development, the Ministry of Women and Child Development in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will launch ‘Navya’, a joint pilot initiative of both the Ministries for skill development of adolescent girls in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh on 24th June 2025.
The program will be jointly inaugurated by Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary and Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur.

What is Navya Scheme?
Let us tell you that Navya Yojana has been started as a pilot program for small girls under the vision of India 2047 developed by the Modi government. Under this scheme, adolescent girls aged 16 to 18 years will be given vocational training. With the cooperation of the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, this scheme is being started today on 24 June from Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.
This is a pilot project. Under which teenage girls will be given vocational training for works like drone operation, mobile repairing, solar panel installation. This scheme will initially be implemented in 27 districts of 19 states of the country.

How will the girls get the benefit?
To get the benefit under this new scheme launched by the government, the age of the teenager should be between 16 and 18 years. And she should have studied at least up to 10th class. A special training module of 7 hours has been prepared for this scheme. In which the girls will be given information about different skills.
At present, complete information has not been officially shared about what the application process will be. It is possible that the application process may be started through the website of the Ministry of Women and Child Development or the Ministry of Entrepreneurship or through a separate portal. An official announcement will be made about this later.
