Written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is poised to be a high-stakes (Kannada) action thriller film that will explore the world of a drug cartel in Goa. Alongside Nayanthara, the film stars Yash, Kiara Advani, Darrell D’Silva, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Akshay Oberoi. Qureshi will play the villain. Nayanthara will star in the period-action drama ‘Rakkayie,’ the directorial debut of Senthil Nallasamy who also wrote the film. ‘Mannangatti: Since 1960’ is an upcoming Tamil period drama written and directed by Dude Vicky. It will star Nayanthara and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The creators have successfully ensured that the plot remains under wraps. The rest of the cast includes Gouri Kishan, Jeeva Subramanian, Devadarshini Chetan, and Narendra Prasath.
