NEET-UG 2025 Results On Hold – NEET UG results will be out now. After a student complained that her performance was affected due to a power outage during the exam, the Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court issued such an order regarding the declaration of NEET UG results. NEET UG 2025 has been temporarily postponed. However, it is not yet clear whether this is for the entire country or only for specific centers.

The NEET UG 2025 exam was held on May 4. However, due to bad weather, there was a power outage in many places in Indore. A student approached the court regarding this. According to the student, the power outage disrupted her exam on May 4. Due to which she was forced to seek the court’s intervention. Along with this, the student’s lawyer also claimed that there is no backup power in many centers in the city, and some students were even forced to write papers by candlelight. Taking note of the matter, the Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court said that the examination environment has become disastrous due to power outages due to bad weather. Some students had to continue their exams by candlelight, which has raised concerns about the impartiality of the marking process. Hearing the matter, Justice Subodh Abhayanka Roy on Friday ordered the results to be stayed till further review. The court has sought a response from the National Testing Agency (NTA), the central government and the MP West Zone Power Distribution Company within four weeks.

The next hearing is scheduled for June 30. However, the authorities have not yet clarified whether the court’s order is applicable to all students across the country or only to those affected by power outages in some centers. Due to which more than 21 lakh NEET UG aspirants are now uncertain about their scores. Earlier, the students were looking forward to the results being declared on June 14, but now there is uncertainty. Due to which students and parents have also expressed concern.
