Odisha Govt Suspends B.Ed, M.Ed, B.H.Ed Admissions for 2025–26 Amid Alleged Discrepancies : The Higher Education Department of the Odisha Government has temporarily suspended all admission activities for the 2-year B.Ed. (Arts/Science), B.H.Ed. and M.Ed. programs for the academic year 2025–26.
This decision comes amid allegations of discrepancies in entrance test scores, prompting the State Selection Board to constitute subject-wise expert committees for re-verification of answer keys.
The Higher Education Department issued a notification in this regard.

“Pending completion of this process, all admission activities for the said courses are temporarily suspended. The revised admission schedule will be notified on the SAMS portal (https://te.samsodisha.gov.in/) and through leading newspapers. Students and institutions are advised to stay updated only through the official channels,” read the notification issued by the department.
The directive, issued by order of the Governor, reinforces the government’s commitment to maintaining academic integrity during the admissions process.
