The student has filed an FIR at Mancheswar police station. According to the report, Odisha Students Congress President Udit Pradhan gave her cold drinks mixed with alcohol and gave them to drink. After that, he raped her in a hotel room. Based on this complaint, Mancheswar police station has started an investigation and the accused Udit Pradhan has been arrested.

It has been reported that the medical tests of the accused and the complainant, who were arrested at night, were conducted in the morning and samples were collected. Meanwhile, while the state Congress is attacking the BJP government over the issue of harassment of women in the state, the rape case filed against the student congress president has created an obstacle for the Congress.
