Ujjain Scrap Dealers Buy BSF Plane for ₹40 Lakh, Set to Transform It into 5-Star Hotel

Old BSF Aircraft To Be Renovated And Transformed Into 5-Star Hotel In Madhya Pradesh: In a remarkable initiative blending innovation with patriotism, two scrap dealers from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh — Virendra and Pushpendra Kushwaha — have purchased a decommissioned 55-seater cargo aircraft from the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) for around ₹40 lakh. Their ambitious plan? To transform the grounded aircraft into a luxury hotel offering tourists a one-of-a-kind experience of staying inside an airplane — without ever leaving the ground.

Inspired by a similar airplane-restaurant concept in Haryana, the Kushwaha brothers aim to construct a 4–5 room boutique hotel inside the old aircraft. Pushpendra Kushwaha shared that the hotel will feature a military theme, dedicated to the Indian Armed Forces and inspired by Operation Sindhur. The brothers hope to honor the country’s defense services while offering guests a unique and memorable stay.

The project has quickly gained attention on social media, with many users applauding the creativity and patriotic intent behind the idea. Photos of similar aircraft-themed restaurants and hotels have gone viral, and tourism experts predict that once completed, the airplane hotel in Ujjain could become a major attraction for both domestic and international visitors.
