India Shoots Down More Than 50 Pakistani Drones Targeting Defence Bases in Jammu & Beyond
Operation Sindoor: India Shoots Down Multiple Pak Drones: India has shattered Pakistan’s pride. Last night(May 8- 9), India shot down more than 50 drones of Pakistan. Last night, when Pakistan unsuccessfully attempted to send swarm drones to various places along the Line of Control and international borders, more than 50 drones were successfully shot down during a large-scale counter-drone operation by the Indian Army’s air defense units in Udhampur, Samba, Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota, and Pathankot areas. L-70 guns, ZU-23 mm, Shilka systems, and other excellent counter-UAS equipment were used in this encounter. This shows the strong ability of the army to counter aerial threats.
Air Defence System Bubbles created by Indian Air Force:
The Indian Air Force has created bubbles of air defence system along the border from Srinagar to Gujarat. The air defence includes long range and short range missiles. Pakistani missiles, drones and swam drones were caught by radars and other equipment and then “heat seeking and radar guided missiles” like Akash, MR SAM and others were launched along with air defence guns.
The sound of an explosion was heard in Jammu. After this, air sirens were sounded. A blackout was imposed in the entire Jammu. People have been instructed to stay indoors. A blackout has been imposed in different sectors of Jammu. The air defense system has been activated in Jammu after the sound of the explosion. It is being told that 5-6 explosions have been heard in Jammu. There is a possibility of drone and missile attack.
