Pakistan Situation After India’s Air Strike : In response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, India carried out air strikes on nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), killing more than 70 terrorists.

Pakistan Situation After India’s Air Strike
- As soon as the air strike took place, all flights from Lahore and Karachi airports were stopped. According to Geo News report, after an 8-hour ban, some flights were allowed to fly.
- The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad announced that all government and private educational institutions will remain closed in the Pakistani capital.
- The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has announced that the examinations for Intermediate and Matriculation scheduled for today have been postponed.
- The district administration has announced the closure of all public and private educational institutions in Rawalpindi.
- Public hospitals across Rawalpindi and the wider Punjab province have been put on high alert. A state of emergency has been imposed in all district and provincial surveillance bodies across the province.
- The impact of India’s air strike was also seen on Pakistan’s stock market. Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) saw a decline of up to 6,500 points in intraday trading. When the market opened at 9:30 am, the benchmark KSE-100 index opened with a decline of 6,560.82 points or 5.78 percent from the previous day.
- The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that the Pakistan Super League 10 matches will continue as planned. Islamabad United will take on Quetta Gladiators at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today.
- Airlines from South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand have either diverted or cancelled several flights to or from Pakistan.
