Lakhs of devotees visit Puri during Panchuka
Panchuka Starts From Today: Panchuka starts today. Due to this, there is a huge crowd in Puri, the “Shree Khetra”. This time, instead of five days, it will be four days of Panchuka. In Panchuka, devotees will only get darshan of Mahaprabhu from the ‘Bahara Katha’. On Kartik Purnima day, after the first Bhogamandap, ‘Bahara Katha’ will be darshan.
A huge crowd of devotees in puri. The police have tightened the orderly darshan and security arrangements. It has been decided that devotees will enter only through ‘Singhadwara’ and exit through three other gates. The barricade has been extended further at ‘Badadand’. Forty platoon forces have been deployed for security. Along with crowd control, the police and administration are giving importance to the safety and security of everyone.
Badadand Market Chowk will be a no-vehicle zone. Similarly, it has been decided to create a no-vehicle zone from Digabarini Chawk to yatrika Parking. There will be tight and adequate police security both inside and outside the shree mandir. Clearance parties will be deployed inside the temple from the ‘Garuda Stamba’ to the ‘Bhitara Katha’ to control the crowd. A total of 30 platoons of police force will be deployed along with selected experienced and senior police personnel.
