Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s much-awaited romantic drama Param Sundari has been released in theatres on 29 August. The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The film’s opening was not a blockbuster but it was not less either. At the same time, this figure was seen increasing on the second day. According to the initial figures of box office tracker Siklix, it earned 7.25 crores on the first day, which became the 5th highest grossing film of Siddharth’s career.
On the second day, the film earned 9.22 crores at the box office. In these two days, the collection in India reached 16.47 crores. On the other hand, the film earned 12.7 crores worldwide on the first day. While on the second day, the figure has crossed 20 crores. For those who don’t know, let us tell you that the film has been made in a budget of 45-50 crores.
Due to this, the film has crossed the lifetime collection of Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh’s romantic comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which was 12.85 crores.

However, Param Sundari is being compared to Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Chennai Express. However, this film of Siddharth and Janhvi is nowhere near with the second day’s collection.
Directed by Tushar Jalota, Param Sundari is produced by Dinesh Vajan of Maddock Films. The film stars Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. Sanjay Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Inayat Verma and Renji Panikkar are seen in important roles. The storyline of the film faced criticism. But Siddharth and Janhvi’s chemistry and songs won the hearts of the fans.
