The plane belonged to Siberian airline Angara. This aircraft was going from Blagoveshchensk to Tynda. This plane was built in 1976 and was from the Soviet era. As soon as it reached Tynda, this plane disappeared from the radar.
What is the reason behind the Russia plane crash?
Bad weather and crew error are believed to be the cause of the accident. According to the Russian news agency TASS, the crew made a mistake during landing amid poor visibility, which led to this accident.
The wreckage of the plane was found on a hill 15 kilometers from Tynda. “A Mi-8 helicopter from Rosaviatsiya spotted the burning tail end of the plane,” emergency services official Yulia Petina wrote on Telegram.
The accident site is adjacent to the Chinese border
Rescue teams are still trying to reach the site of the incident, but dense forests and fire are hampering rescue efforts. Russian authorities have launched an investigation into the accident. The plane was heading towards Tynda, a small town in the Amur region. This area is adjacent to the Chinese border.
