PM Modi Visits Blast Victims at LNJP Hospital After Returning from Bhutan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after completing his two-day state visit to Bhutan, returned to New Delhi and went straight to LNJP Hospital to meet those injured in the recent Delhi blasts. The Prime Minister personally interacted with the victims, inquired about their condition, and wished them a speedy recovery. Doctors at the hospital briefed him about the ongoing treatment and the health status of those critically injured.
A powerful blast near the historic Red Fort on Wednesday evening has left the nation in shock. According to officials, at least 12 people were killed and over 20 others sustained injuries, several of whom remain in critical condition. The explosion, which occurred in a crowded area, caused widespread panic and damaged nearby shops and vehicles.
While in Bhutan, Prime Minister Modi had strongly condemned the attack, asserting that no one involved in the conspiracy would be spared. His visit to the hospital upon returning to Delhi reflected his commitment to stand by the victims and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice. Security agencies are currently investigating the blast and tightening surveillance in the capital.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced financial assistance for the victims and their families. The families of each of the deceased will receive ₹10 lakh as compensation, while those who have been permanently disabled will be given ₹5 lakh. Additionally, ₹2 lakh will be provided to each person who has suffered serious injuries in the explosion. The government has assured that all possible support will be extended to the affected families during this difficult time.
