President Droupadi Murmu To Watch Anupam Kher Film Tanvi The Great: Famous actor Anupam Kher’s upcoming film ‘Tanvi the Great’ has created history even before its release. The country’s President, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, herself saw this film in a special show at Rashtrapati Bhavan and praised it wholeheartedly. This film is going to be released worldwide on July 18. On this special occasion, the entire team of the film, including the actors Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Karan Tacker, and the new actress Shubhangi, were present. After the film ended, President Murmu applauded the film, which made the entire team dance with joy.

Anupam Kher said, “It is like a dream come true for me to see the President of the country and the Supreme Commander of the Indian Army watching our film and applauding us at the end. These include big names like Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasir, Anupam Kher, and Ian Glen. This film of Anupam Kher has already garnered praise worldwide and is now being liked a lot in India too. Anupam Kher Studios has produced this film in collaboration with NFDC. It is being distributed by Excel Entertainment (Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) and AA Films (Anil Thadani). ‘Tanvi the Great’ will be released in theaters worldwide on 18 July 2025.
Who is Tanvi Raina in Tanvi the Great?
The President will watch the film at a special screening organised at the iconic Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre (RBCC). The screening will be attended by debutante Shubhangi, who plays Tanvi, Karan Tacker, Boman Irani, co-writers Ankur and Abhishek as well as the film’s crew. The film also features a strong cast from Indian and international cinema such as Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Pallavi Joshi, Nasser, Anupam Kher and Iain Glen. The film also features two Oscar winners, music director M.M. Keeravani and sound designer Resul Pookutty.
Story of Tanvi Raina
‘Tanvi The Great’ is produced by Anupam Kher Studios in association with NFDC. Global distribution is being handled by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar-led Excel Entertainment and Anil Thadani-led AA Films. ‘Tanvi The Great’ will release in cinemas worldwide on July 18. The film is based on Tanvi Raina, a 21-year-old woman with autism spectrum, who lives with her mother Vidya and grandfather Colonel Pratap Raina. The film depicts the saga of bravery of the Indian Army.
