Rahul Gandhi To Visit Odisha On July 11, Huge Rally In Bhubaneswar : Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is visiting Odisha on July 11. Congress (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge will also come to Odisha with him. This was informed by senior state Congress leader Jaydev Jena. Both the leaders will attend a huge rally organized at Barmunda area in Bhubaneswar.
Rahul Gandhi has been expressing his views on various issues in Odisha on social media and national platforms for the past few days. Recently, he targeted the state government over the atrocities on two Dalits in Ganjam and the chaos during the Puri Rath Yatra. Since the BJP government is in power in the state, it is expected that Rahul may severely criticize the policies and work of the BJP government during this visit.

The rally, to be held at the Baramunda area of Bhubaneswar, will be an important event for the Odisha Congress. The rally will boost the morale of the party workers as the party has performed poorly in the recent assembly elections in the state and will help in strengthening its political strategy in the coming days. Party leaders are hopeful that the presence of Rahul and Kharge will help in reviving the Congress organisation in the state.
