Railway Recruitment : At the start of the new year, news of significant relief has arrived for young people preparing for railway jobs. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is launching a new recruitment process for Level-1 positions. According to reports, the official advertisement is expected to be released in the third week of January. Approximately 22,000 qualified candidates will be selected for this recruitment process. These recruitments will take place in various railway zones across the country. Previously, the Railways has announced large-scale recruitment, and now, once again, a significant opportunity is emerging for unemployed youth.

Preparation for recruitment to 22,000 Level-1 posts
The Railway Recruitment Board will soon release a notification for new recruitment for Level-1 positions. This recruitment may include track maintainers, helpers, and other Group D positions. It is estimated that a total of approximately 22,000 vacant positions will be filled. The Railway Board has begun preparations and has requested position details from all zones. All Railway Recruitment Boards, including Ajmer, are involved in this process.

Bhopal RRB will become the nodal agency
This time, the Railway Recruitment Board, Bhopal, has been designated as the nodal agency for Level-1 recruitment. This means the entire recruitment process will be monitored and coordinated by the Bhopal Board. Previously, in 2025, recruitment advertisements were issued for several cadres, including NTPC. Advertisements were also issued for 32,438 Level-1 posts during the same period, for which the examination process is currently underway. Now, the Railways is preparing to launch another new recruitment drive.

Information about previous recruitment and age limit
The last recruitment for Level-1 positions was in 2024, with the advertisement released in January 2025. Online applications for that recruitment were accepted from January 23 to February 22, 2025. At that time, the age limit was set at 18 to 36 years. It is believed that there will be no major changes to the age limit this time around. However, final confirmation of this will only be made after the official notification is issued.
