After delivering three back-to-back hits in 2023—Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki—SRK has stayed away from the big screen, making King one of the most anticipated films of his career.
The film features a powerful star cast, including Suhana Khan, who will make her theatrical debut with the project. Although King was initially set to be Suhana’s solo film, a change in director led to a revised script, placing Shah Rukh back in the lead role.
Farah Khan Reveals Training Details
At a recent Danube Properties event in Dubai—where a ₹4,000-crore premium commercial tower named after Shah Rukh Khan was announced—SRK attended alongside filmmaker and long-time friend Farah Khan.
In a viral clip from the event, Farah disclosed an interesting behind-the-scenes detail about King: Shah Rukh Khan himself is training Suhana in action sequences.
Farah said, “Suhana is very hardworking; she will now be working on King. I know you are training her in action.” She also praised Aryan Khan, mentioning his web series The Bads of Bollywood, calling it “amazing.”
This marks the first time Shah Rukh and Suhana will share the screen in a theatrical film, making the father-daughter training sessions even more special.

Though she has not directed a film recently, Farah Khan remains active through her popular YouTube cooking content, where she often visits celebrities’ homes with her cook, Dilip.
