Skin Cancer: Types Of Skin Cancer: People get different kinds of cancer. One of them is skin cancer. This disease is caused by overgrowth of abnormal skin cells. If you tend to spend more time under the sun, then you will certainly develop this illness. Your parts of the body that have exposure to sunlight can have skin cancer. Such as fingers, nails, scalp, toes, etc., there is a risk of developing this disease.

2. Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)

3. Melanoma

4. Merkel Cell Carcinoma

5. Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL)

6. Actinic Keratosis (AK) / Keratosis

7. Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP)

8. Sebaceous Gland Carcinoma

9. Kaposi Sarcoma

10. Bowen’s Disease

11. Basal Cell Nevus Syndrome (Gorlin Syndrome)

Symptoms of skin cancer:

  • Sudden burning sensation in the head, neck, eyes, and cheeks.
  • Some spots may appear on the skin. See a doctor right away if these spots don’t go away for a while.
  • Do not disregard your skin’s sudden darkening or changing of colour; instead, get medical help.
  • Recurrent eczema is a sign of skin cancer.
  • If you go out in the sun, your hands and body get burned.

Its treatment:

  • Drink plenty of water.
  • If you go out in the sun, cover your body.
  • Eat less spicy food.
  • Avoid foods rich in fatty acids such as meat, fast food, corn, etc.
  • Use moisturizer and sunscreen lotion on your skin.
  • Seek medical advice if you notice any spots or marks on your body suddenly appear.
