Son Of Sardaar 2 Postponed Because Of Saiyaara: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited film ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ will now be released in theaters, not on the scheduled time, but with a week’s delay. Earlier this film was going to be released on 25 July 2025, but now it (Son of Sardaar Release date) will be released on 1 August 2025. This information has come out in an exclusive media report.
‘Saiyara’s’ blockbuster entry at the box office became the reason
According to reports, the biggest reason behind this change in date is Yash Raj Films’ new release ‘Saiyaara’. The film was released on July 18 and has been winning the hearts of the audience since day one. ‘Saiyaara’ has got a great opening, and its word of mouth is quite positive. This is the reason why the weekend collection of the film and the coming week are also considered to be very strong.
A source said, “Looking at the success of ‘Saiyaara’, it was decided that it would be better to postpone ‘ Son of Sardaar 2 ‘ a bit. If these two films had been released within a week’s gap, both would have suffered losses at the box office.”
Business analysts called it a wise move
A trade expert said, “This decision of the team of ‘Son of Sardar 2’ has been taken very thoughtfully. ‘Saiyaara’ will get two weeks of competition-free time, and then ‘Son of Sardar 2’ will hit the theatres with a new enthusiasm. This will benefit both the films and will also strengthen the exhibition sector.”
