Tata Motors Gifts ₹25 Lakh Tata Sierra SUVs to Each Indian Women’s Cricket World Champion
In a grand gesture celebrating the historic triumph of the Indian women’s cricket team, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has announced that it will gift each team member the first batch of its highly anticipated Tata Sierra SUV. The announcement comes ahead of the vehicle’s official India launch on November 25. “Legend meets legend,” Tata Motors stated in its release, emphasizing that the gesture symbolizes the meeting of two icons — the nation’s cricketing champions and the brand’s legendary SUV.
Speaking on the occasion, Shailesh Chandra, MD & CEO of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said, “The Indian women’s cricket team has made the entire nation proud with their exceptional performances and remarkable victories. Their journey is a true testament to the power of determination and belief, which inspires every Indian. At Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, we are privileged to present these legends with another legend, the Tata Sierra.” Each player will receive the top-end model of the SUV as a token of appreciation for their contribution to Indian sports.
Ahead of its official debut, Tata Motors has released a series of teaser videos revealing exciting features of the upcoming Sierra. The SUV will boast a first-of-its-kind three-screen dashboard layout in a Tata vehicle, comprising a digital instrument cluster, central touchscreen infotainment display, and a dedicated passenger screen. Other highlights include an illuminated Tata logo on the steering wheel and a stylish new exterior, showcased in both red and yellow finishes. The Tata Sierra is poised to redefine the brand’s premium SUV lineup when it hits Indian roads later this month.
