World famous Bargarh Dhanu Yatra from today . The royal palace of Kansa has been decorated. This time, the Bargarh Dhanu Yatra will enter its 78th year. The yatra will continue for 11 days from today till January 3. The entire Bargarh city is in a state of excitement, while its preparations are in full swing. For this, the construction of the royal palace of Maharaj Kansa, which is about 70 feet high and 120 feet wide, is underway at Bargarh Hatpada, while 55 artisans are working day and night.

This year, the committee has given more importance to making the palace of Kansa more attractive. While the land alarm for outside traders is going on in full swing, the district administration is making efforts to make the city clean and beautiful during the Yatra. Meanwhile, the artisans are also excited to build this stage like the palace of Kansa of the Dwapar era and feel proud to be working for the world-famous Bargarh Dhanu Yatra.

Similarly, the construction of Maharaj Kansa’s Ranga Mahal is underway in the local Lokmandap area. This Dhanu Yatra festival will be celebrated in 14 stages within a radius of about seven kilometers of Bargarh. Dhanu Yatra scenes are performed daily in Kansa Darbar, Ranga Mahal and Nanda Darbar. Keeping this in mind, the committee is giving more importance to the decoration of these three stages.
