Nilgiri Tea
This tea is grown in Tamil Nadu. Actually it is grown in the Nilgiri hills, hence it is named Nilgiri tea. This tea is known for its strong pungent taste.
Kangra Tea
The tea grown in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh is called Kangra tea. This mild-flavored tea has a pleasant aroma which fills you with freshness.
Munnar Tea
South India is very popular for tea production. The tea grown in Kerala here is known as Munnar tea, because it is grown in the Munnar region.
Sikkim Tea
Sikkim, located in the northeast of India, is also known for tea production. The taste of the tea here is unique, apart from this, its aroma also boosts your mood.
Darjeeling Tea
Mainly green, white and oolong teas are grown in Darjeeling, West Bengal. The most famous tea here is black tea which is also called ‘second flush’.
Assam Tea
Assam is number one in tea production in India. Mainly two types of tea are grown here. Orthodox and CTC tea. Crush, Tear, Curl i.e. CTC tea is known for its strong and malty taste, while Orthodox has a pleasant aroma and mild taste.
