Born on 24 July 1937 as Harikrishna Giri Goswami, Manoj Kumar established himself through his work and robust persona in Hindi cinema. Manoj Kumar, who shaped himself into each role, was popularly referred to as Bharat Kumar because of his patriotic movies.
