Sonakshi Sinha Visits Abu Dhabi Mosque, Faces Trolls
Zaheer Clarifies: Sonakshi Not Taken to Mosque for Conversion: Bollywood couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, known for their adorable chemistry, are once again in the spotlight after sharing a new video from their trip to Abu Dhabi. The couple, who are currently promoting tourism in the city, posted a vlog in which Sonakshi expressed her excitement about visiting a mosque for the first time.
In the clip, Sonakshi is seen eagerly preparing to enter the mosque, calling it a “beautiful experience.” She shared that she has visited temples and churches before, but this was her first time stepping inside a mosque. Netizens praised her curiosity and openness, though some trolls targeted the couple with religious comments.
Zaheer Iqbal responded firmly, clarifying that he did not bring Sonakshi to the mosque to convert her. He said the visit was part of their official tourism promotion in Abu Dhabi, where the local government invited them to experience the city’s cultural heritage. Zaheer added that their trip was simply about enjoying the beauty of Abu Dhabi, not about religion.
The couple, who dated for seven years, got married in June 2024. After a court marriage, they hosted a grand reception attended by Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, who blessed the newlyweds. Their wedding had earlier sparked discussions, especially after Shatrughan Sinha publicly stated that his property would not be shared with Sonakshi—comments that led to widespread speculation. Reports also suggested that Sonakshi’s two brothers did not participate in the celebrations.
