Will Miss World Contest Be Postponed? MLC Appeals To Telangana Government
Miss World Contest Postponed – Amidst the Indo-Pak tensions, many major events in the country have been cancelled, out of which the most important step taken by the Indian government is the postponement of the Indian Premier League 2025. Meanwhile, the Miss World competition, which is being held in India for the second time in a row, is going to be held. This competition is going to be held in the month of May this year. Now Bharat Rashtra Samiti leader and Telangana Jagrandi President and MLC Kalvakuntala Kavita has requested the state government to postpone the 72nd Miss World competition to be held in Hyderabad. It is to be noted that the schedule of the Miss World competition in India has been fixed from 7 to 31 May.You also read this What Is The Territorial Army Salary

Considering the ongoing dispute and sensitive environment between the two countries, the MLC said that it would not be appropriate to host such a big competition in the country in such a situation. If the competition is held in such a tense situation, then it may create negativity in the country. He said, ‘We have to make a firm decision that no mistake is made that can harm the country and this competition. I think this is not the right time to host such a grand event when our soldiers are standing at the border to protect us without worrying about their lives.’
The MLC also said that just like IPL 2025 has been postponed due to security reasons, a decision needs to be taken on this competition as well. Notably, last Friday, he also took out a rally from Indira Park to RTC Cross Road to boost the morale of the Indian Army and salute them. The rally was organized for the recent successful ‘Operation Sindoor’ of the Indian Army. In this rally, he also paid tribute to the martyred young Indian soldier Murali Nayak.
Addressing the crowd, he said, ‘This is a righteous war. India never does anything wrong. we are fighting with complete honesty and integrity. our army has not harmed any civilian in Pakistan; we have only destroyed the terrorist camps present there.’
