Cyclone Impact On Odisha
Cyclone likely to form in Bay of Bengal on 27th . Impact on Odisha not yet clear. While the weather is favourable for the formation of another cyclone in Bay of Bengal, a well-defined low pressure area has formed over Malaysia and adjoining Malak system. The associated cyclone is at an altitude of 7.6 km above sea level. It is likely to move slowly west-northwestwards and intensify into a cyclonic storm over South Bay of Bengal in 48 hours, the AMD said.
However, the weatherman who is not yet sure about its impact on Odisha has given information. Similarly, while the winter is mild in the state, there is no possibility of significant rainfall in the next five days. The temperature will drop by 2 to 3 degrees in the next 2 days and the state will again experience cold, the regional meteorological center has said.
